Japanese-western family-style diner at Eat At Seven specializing in handmade Japanese ‘hamburg’. Made with an optimal ratio of Australian Wagyu beef and imported Brazilian pork, Burg Kitchen serves their 200g hamburg steak in either the original ($18) or the cheese ($19.80) version, where the steak is first pan-fried, then slow-cooked in oven to retain its juices and flavour within, while the cheese version comes topped with a smooth and stretchy mix of torched colby and cheddar cheese.
Each juicy hamburg is served with spaghetti and can be paired with one of the seven types of sauce available, including homemade demi glace, teriyaki with mayo & wasabi, ponzu oroshi, or ponzu spicy chilli. The best of all is, Burg Kitchen’s sets which already comes with rice and miso soup, also entitles you to the free flow salad and dessert bar.
Besides hamburg sets, other metal skillet dishes include the equally hearty Penne Meat Sauce Gratin set ($14.50), Chicken Combo set ($16.50) that consists of a whole chicken leg, teriyaki chicken wings and tsukune meat balls, as well as Golden Curry with Spicy Fried Chicken ($15.50).
