Crown’s food menu comprises of four main categories, including main courses, sandwiches and desserts, featuring ingredients such as French mill wheat flour, Hokkaido kitanokaori bread flour, German sourdough flour as well as French butter and direct-from-farm honey.
Look out for the hearty Crown Breakfast ($29), an impressive platter board that features an egg-filled crown-shaped puff pastry centerpiece and tender red wine-braised oxtail among the spread, the crowd-favourite Queen’s Eggs Ben ($15), a classic eggs Benedict with a choice of fresh sourdough muffin or multigrain bread, or the delightful crispy on the outside and fluffy on the side Crown’s Sourdough Buttermilk Waffle ($7) served with maple syrup & butter.
For handheld selections, go for the satisfying Ham & Brie Croissant ($15) or the succulent Grilled Chicken Ciabatta ($16) that comes with creamy avocados, brie cheese and garlic aioli dressing. If you’re looking for something lighter, check out the Warm Mushroom Salad ($10) of grilled shiitake & white button mushrooms on mesclun in balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
Besides the classic French Baguette ($4.10), the bestselling 27-layer Croissant ($1.80), and Cream Cheese Danish ($3), Crown also offers a variety of Japanese and local-inspired items such as KOJI & Red Bean Anpan ($1.80), Matcha Azuki Loaf ($4.20), Mentaiko Mayo Crisps ($2.80) and the famed Hainanese Chicken Bread ($4.50), made from chicken soup, skinless chicken thigh, garlic, ginger and shallots, complete with chicken rice chilli sauce!
