Nautical-themed cafe serving fusion of Italian, western and Asian cuisine.
The food: Breakfast, western specials, Asian delights, pasta, pizzas, desserts and high tea sets that runs from 2 to 5:30 pm. The “Captain’s Choice” dishes from EagleWings Loft’s extensive menu include Treasures in a Bun ($10), consists of two pieces of steamed lotus buns filled with slow-braised pork belly, and topped with chilli ginger caramel and fried shallots, the creamy Lobster Risotto with succulent lobster and scallop chunks ($38), the Smokin’ Sambal pasta tossed in fiery sambal sauce, caramelised onions and capsicums with either seafood or smoked duck ($18), and Skipper’s Smoked Duck pizza ($24), a fusion of smoked duck breast sauteed in hoisin sauce with shiitake mushrooms before topping with crispy popiah skin. For dessert, try the lovely Jasmine Peach Panna Cotta ($12) with white peach glaze, ume soil and topped with jasmine tea sorbet.
EagleWings Loft’s breakfast menu (8am to 3pm) consists of classic breakfast/brunch fare like big breakfast Full Steam Ahead ($16) and Port-side Pancakes ($10 for sweet option that comes with fresh berries and chantilly cream; $12 for savoury option that comes with crispy bacon and grilled sausages). Try the line of ocean-themed signature mocktails ($9) made by their own in-house barista, like the Instagram-worthy Mermaid’s Tears ($9), made with soda and lavender essence and a spiral of cotton candy within the soda mix, or the refreshing, citrusy Floating Island ($8). A fine dining 4-course and 8-course dining menu is available upon reservation.
The space: Family-friendly, casual yet classy double storey nautical-themed cafe and bar fully decked out in everything martime, consisting of a “main deck” and two private rooms, aptly named Flybridge I and Flybridge II.
The buzz: EagleWings Loft is the (open to public) dining venue for Eaglewings, a popular luxury yacht charter in Singapore.
