Thai eatery opened by the folks behind Noodle Cafe at Golden Mile, specializing in authentic Thai boat noodles, also known as ‘kuai tiao rua’ in Thai. Gu Thai’s selection of boat noodles come in two sizes, either small ($1.90) or large ($7.90), with an option between five types of noodles ( thin rice noodles, egg noodles to name a few) and customizable spice levels, served in a rich, aromatic boat noodle broth base (without using any pig’s blood). There’s also a series of spicy, tangy Tom Yum-based boat noodles such as the Tom Yum River Prawn Noodles ($7.90) and Tom Yum River Duck Noodles ($8.50).

Beyond boat noodles, Gu Thai also offers a wide variety of wallet-friendly Thai appetizers, side dishes, stir-fried main dishes, desserts and beverages, including  Phad Thai wrapped with Omelette ($8.90), Thai Mango Sticky Rice ($10) and Thai Milk Green Tea ($2.20)
