A revamped burger bar and grill restaurant along trendy Purvis Street, offering signature burgers with a namesake ‘half pound’ Angus beef patty. The signature Half Pound Burger ($22) features a 220 grams beef patty with candied bacon, sliced cheddar, all the works (burger greens) with a side of truffle fries and signature butter sauce, while the hearty Gourmet Burger ($26) is assembled with foie gras, pineapple, sliced cheddar cheese and the same signature half pound beef patty, great with Half Pound’s list of wine and beer. For something different, look out for the Malaysia Boleh ($20), an luxurious upgrade on the local favourite Ramly Burger.
Besides specialty beef burgers, there’s Grilled Chicken Burger ($18) in addition to main courses like Fish & Chip ($17), Duck Confit ($20) and Pan Seared Salmon ($22). You will also find a variety of fusion pasta dishes such as the trendy Tom Yum Seafood Spaghetti ($18), and the Laksa Spaghetti ($16) with tiger prawn and familiar laksa ingredients in a house-made laksa sauce, on top of classics like Aglio Olio ($10) and Vongole ($16). Elsewhere on the menu, expect small plates usch as the fried Salt & Pepper Squid ($14) served with homemade tartar sauce, the Crispy Wild Mushroom ($12) tossed in truffle oil, Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley, served with their signature butter sauce, as well as dessert of Sticky Date Pudding ($12) with vanilla ice cream and homemade caramel sauce.
