Here’s the science behind it: The longer it takes to freeze ice cream, the bigger the ice crystals form within the ice cream, causing the texture to become more grainy and icy. Commercial ice creams need at least 10 minutes to free, but at Lab Made, it only takes 60 seconds – hence creating the smoothest and creamiest ice cream possible. All Lab Made’s ice creams are made to order, from scratch, with no additives, colorings or presevatives, and they are never stored in a freezer.
