Well-known local seafood zi char restaurant, known for it’s old-school, home-style cooking. Located at quaint Tiong Bahru district, Por Kee (波记) serves up a wide selection of hearty, rich-tasting, Cantonese-style dishes like the smoky (wok hei) signature Homemade Beancurd braised with mushrooms ($16), the comforting Fried Beef Hor Fun (rice noodle) with Black Bean Sauce ($8), and the Champange Pork Ribs ($22), comprising of bone-in cuts of pork ribs coated in a thick, sweet-savoury glaze, also available in a single person portion. Other classic live seafood and zi char dishes including the Singapore Chili Crab ($8/100g), Thai Style Live Sea Bass ($5/100g) and Deep-fried Salted Chicken is served too, on top of crowd-favourites such as Cereal Prawns ($22) and Crispy Butter Prawns ($22).

Por Kee has an air-conditioned indoor dining area which accommodates around 80 people (might be a squeeze), but go for the atmospheric outdoor seating.
