Popular noodle stall well-known for their premium char siew. Instead of using pork loin or shoulder which most char siew (barbecued pork) is made from, Zhong Yu Yuan Wei (忠于原味) features a cut from the armpit of the pig, also known “Bu Jian Tian” (不见天) – a cut that is both flavourful, tender and well-marbled with a thin layer of fat. Starting at $6, the famed thick slices of well-caramelized premium char siew comes coated in a light marinade that allows the cut of pork shine, and is served with wantons and thin egg noodle.
