Revamped dining concept by culinary host and TV presenter Angela May, now offering a more concise menu of pasta, garden toasts, sandwiches and pastries. Favourites such as the series of Housemade Choux Pastry ($13 for 3) is still available, with flavours that include Strawberry Short Choux, Frangipane with Healthy Crumble as well as a variety of Valrhona chocolate creations; while the signature red curry prawn burger is now Angela May Burger ($22), found in the menu of sister establishment, &Made Burger Bistro that’s part of the multi-concept Glasshouse by DHM at Robinsons.
If you can’t get enough of that Asian-inspired spiced laksa yogurt sauce, check out the Lobster Crab Roll ($29), with lobster and pickled crab sandwiched between New England-style buttered bun and topped with fried curry leaves. The Asian touch extends to Iberico Pork Cheek Pasta ($24) which see Iberian pork braised in a blend of soy sauce, Saigon cinnamon, cloves, star anise and Thai, with strozzapreti pasta and cilantro. Elsewhere on the menu, look out for the selection of dainty garden toasts comprising of a trio of garlic scape pesto, Roquefort cheese mousse and roasted eggplant, served on artisanal sourdough.
