For less than $10, expect your plate of rice at Scissors Cut to be piled with a wide range of fried and braised items of your choice, including the crispy pork chop, braised pork belly, fried chicken cutlet, curry chicken, braised tau pok, ngoh hiang, prawn roll, fried egg, sambal ikan bilis, and boiled cabbage to name a few. They are then drenched in the signature thick, sweet-spicy curry sauce, with dark braised gravy and chilli sauce. Expect to wait in line during peak meal hours but it moves quite quickly as service is efficient.
