KL Shao’s repertoire includes the unique signature Kuala Lumpur-style Char Siew (barbecued pork), Cantonese-style crispy Roast Pork and Soya Sauce Chicken, all served with either rice or wanton noodles with a side of wanton soup and blanched vegetables for less than $5.
KL’s specialty char siew comes thickly sliced and slathered in a thick, sweet-savoury spice-infused sauce, which is also featured in their Char Siew Pastry ($1.50). You could alternatively get the meats by the weight, usually for taking away.
