Update (October 2017): Another adorable character is taking over Kumoya! This time around, Miffy will be occupying the cafe from 5 October to 31 December 2017, featuring a menu that’s once again curated and style by food stylist Shirley Wong (@ittlemissbento). The Miffy-centric Japanese-western fare includes the like of Chicken Katsu Burger, Smoked Duck Cold Pasta, BLT sandwich, as well as Japanese favourites such as Udon with Breaded Ebi, and Japanese Seafood Curry Rice. Desserts-wise, check out the Matcha Azuki Lava cake, or the plated parfait that returns as the Yuzu Mango Parfait Merriment.
Update (May 2017): Cinnamonroll Pop Up Cafe is taking over Kumoya from 17 May 2017 to 13 August 2017 as a special celebration of Cinnamoroll’s 15th anniversary, through a collaboration between Sanrio and Kumoya. This adorable pop-up themed cafe, the first of its kind in Southeast-Asia, is decked out in everything-Cinnamoroll, from the signature baby blue and fluffy clouds to Cinnamoroll-filled wallpaper, furnitures, art work and plushies.
The pop-up cafe menu is curated and styled by food stylist Shirley Wong (@littlemissbento), featuring an array of Cinnamoroll-themed, kawaii-fied Japanese-western style cafe dishes that includes the Fluffy Dreams Japanese Curry Rice, Cinnamoroll Berries Fantasy Parfait with a blue-swirl cheese soft serve, Fly-in-the Clouds Yuzu Chiffon Cake, the already-popular-on-social-media Cutie Cutie Special Cinnamoroll Blue Soda that features a white fluffy cotton-candy top, as well as Kumoya’s Signature Eclairs complete with Cinnamoroll art.
