My Banh Mi’s selection of fillings include the Roasted Pork ($7.50), Lemongrass Chicken ($7.50), Tofu ($6.90) and Bo Kho ($8) which is beef slow-stewed in lemongrass and coconut juice. The crispy baguettes are then garnished with pate, fresh cilantro, julienne spring onions, slices and cucumber and chilli, then paired with sauces such as Garlic Chilli Fish Sauce and Creamy Smoked Roasted Black Pepper.
Besides banh mi, you can also get the Bo Kho with rice ($9), together with a selection of simple Vietnamese classic noodles and rice, such as the Bun Thit Nuong, marinated BBQ pork served with rice vermicelli noodles, Vietnamese greens, roasted peanuts & a fish sauce based special sauce ($8.50) and Bun Chay, a rice vermicelli noodle salad with tofu, cucumber, roasted peanuts, Vietnamese basil & fried shallots ($7.80).
