Muslim-owned cafe serving up hearty portions of western-fusion comfort food at affordable NETT prices. Peachy’s single page food menu consists of four main types of dishes: sides and soup, with a wide range of spaghetti, Japanese omelette rice, and entree, where the latter includes a generous slab of fried or grilled meat with either French fries and coleslaw, topped with a blanket of oozy cheese. Crowd-favourites are the Buffalo Wings with rice ($8), Cheese Fish & Chips ($9.50), Cheesy Chicken Chop with Spaghetti entree ($12.00) and Cheesy Chicken Cutlet with Spaghetti ($12). The Cheesy Chicken series is also available with Japanese omelette rice, both at $9.50.
Drinks-wise, Peachy’s offer quite an remarkable range, given the modest operation of the cafe. There’s coffee, milk tea, chocolate-based drinks, hot tea, sparkling soda, and even mocktails. Peachy’s interior might be a squeeze, but you should go in a large group nonetheless, because sharing the generously portioned dishes is definitely recommended. (FYI, they used to be known as Peachy’s In The Secret Hideout.)
