Shokutsu Ten Japanese Food Street at Great World City features five Japanese dining concepts by RE&S Group, aiming to give an immersive Japanese experience through the re-creation of a piece of Japan nearer to home. Each Shokutsu Ten brings together several brands under one roof and has a theme that ties the various concepts together, from street food to restaurant fare, from a $5 to $40 meal:

Ami Ami, dishes up air-flown seafood from Japan prepared in a variety of cooking style while Men-ichi Sapporo Ramen offers the original taste of Sapporo ramen packed with umami richness. Award-winning Shimbashi Soba brings us healthy, tasty, and authentic soba, while Ichiban Boshi serves contemporary Japanese casual dining with a specialty sakana (seafood) menu. Rounding up the Japanese experience is Kuriya Japanese Market which provides quality Japanese takeaway seafood, condiments and ready-to-eat foods.

A Tempura, Robatayaki and fresh seafood Japanese casual-dining concept, helmed by award-winning Master Chef Naoki Tsuzuki from Kuriya Dining, featuring fresh seafood air-flown from Japan thrice weekly, including local seasonal catch from Wakayama, and uni (sea urchin) from Hokkaido. Expect your tempura to be individually-fried a la minute, served piece by piece at the counter, as well as Japanese traditional charcoal-grilled seafood served immediately over the counter. Shimbashi Soba

Shimbashi’s concept is built around the health benefits and Soba as well as “Uchi-tate” and “Yude-tate” – the art of kneading and slicing following by boiling and chilling. Besides Soba menus, they also serve Japanese desserts, set meals, and a la carte dishes to go with Soba. See the latest photos taken here:
